Local Business
Digital Marketing for Creative Professionals
You have an eye for detail, a portfolio that speaks for itself, and probably a decent handle on your own social media. But there’s a difference between being visible to your followers and being found by someone who doesn’t know you yet and is actively searching for what you do. That’s the gap we close.

Why it Matters
Your Customers ARE Looking Online.
Most creative professionals are technically capable of handling their own marketing. The question isn’t whether you can. It’s whether you should. Every hour spent on SEO, listings, and reputation management is an hour not spent on the work that actually pays you. We handle the digital presence so you can stay in your creative lane.
Instagram builds an audience. Google builds a client pipeline. You need both working together.
Clients searching for a photographer or designer near them are ready to book. If you’re not in the results, someone else is.
A strong online presence lets your portfolio do the selling before you ever have to pitch.

Digital Marketing Essentials for Creatives
01 · DISCOVERY
Local SEO and Listings
When someone searches “photographer near me” or “interior designer in [city],” the results they see are not random. They’re the businesses with complete Google Business Profiles, accurate directory listings, and the right content structure on their websites. Getting into those results, and staying there, is the work. We do it so you don’t have to figure out why your rankings dropped while you’re in the middle of a shoot.
- HIGHEST IMPACT
02 · TRUST
Reputation Management
A prospective client who finds you on Google is going to read your reviews before they reach out. In creative services especially, reviews that describe the experience, how you made them feel, how seamless the process was, matter as much as the portfolio. We build a review strategy that fits into your existing client workflow so the ask happens naturally and the reviews keep coming.
- HIGH IMPACT
03 · CAPTURE
Creative Services Websites
Your website is your portfolio, your pitch, and your booking system all in one. It needs to load fast, look right on every device, organize your work so the right clients find what they’re looking for, and make it genuinely easy to reach out or book. We build websites for creative professionals that are as intentional as the work they showcase.
- HIGH IMPACT
04 · RESPONSE
AI Chat Assistant
You’re in the middle of an edit, a shoot, or a client session, and someone lands on your website at 9 pm ready to inquire. An AI chat assistant captures that moment: answers the common questions, collects the inquiry details, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks while you’re doing the work that needs your full attention. Your creative focus stays protected. The lead doesn’t get lost.
- MEDIUM IMPACT
05 · RETENTION
Email Marketing
Past clients are your warmest referral source. A simple, occasional email, a seasonal mini-session announcement, a note about new services, a portfolio update, keeps you top of mind with people who already trust your work and are likely to book again or send someone your way. Most creative professionals don’t do this. The ones who do book more without doing more outreach.
- MEDIUM IMPACT
06 · PRESENCE
Social Media
You’re probably already posting. The question is whether your social presence is connected to your broader digital strategy or running in its own lane. We help make sure your social activity supports your search visibility, your brand consistency, and your booking goals, without adding more to your plate than you already have.

I'm pretty good at social media. Do I really need local SEO too?
Social media and local SEO do completely different jobs. Social media builds awareness with people who already follow you or stumble across your content. Local SEO gets you in front of people who are actively searching for what you do right now, in your area, ready to book. Both matter. They just reach different people at different moments in the decision process.
My portfolio is strong. Why isn't it bringing in enough inquiries?
A strong portfolio converts people who find you. Local SEO is what determines whether they find you in the first place. If your website isn’t structured for search, your Google Business Profile isn’t complete, and your listings are inconsistent, the portfolio does its job perfectly for the small number of people who happen to land on it. We fix the front end of that funnel so more of the right people reach the portfolio to begin with.
I've tried to do my own SEO. It didn't seem to make a difference. What am I missing?
Local SEO for creative professionals has a few specific requirements that aren’t obvious: configuring your Google Business Profile for a home-based or mobile practice, building service-specific pages for each photography style or design specialty, and maintaining consistent listings across directories. Most DIY attempts get one or two of these right but miss the others. We look at the full picture and address what’s actually suppressing your visibility.
What if I work from home or on location rather than a studio?
That’s the default for most creative professionals and Google handles it well. You can set up your Google Business Profile with a service area rather than a home address and still appear in local search results for the areas you serve. We set this up correctly from the start so you get the local visibility without having to publish your home address.
What's included in Trebletree's free creative services audit?
We look at four things: your Google Business Profile, your directory listings, your online reputation, and your website. From there, we give you your top three priorities in plain language. No jargon, no 40-page report. It takes about three to five days, and there’s no obligation. If everything is already in good shape, we’ll tell you that too.
